Aesthetic medicine today can seem stodgy, intimidating and off-putting. This means many people who might benefit from a treatment will delay one or avoid it altogether. Millennial wants to disrupt this trend so that more men and women get the care they deserve the way they want it.
As doctors with deep roots in and a love for New York City, Dr. Everett and Dr. Shokrian want their practice to feel and function as an integral part of the community they live in and serve. In fact, you may be your doctor’s neighbor, friend and patient all at once. Here, you can enjoy a personal and highly productive relationship with your surgeon while also having your procedure and recovery in an environment that offers great luxury.
Camaraderie, comfort and style come together at Millennial — but all this is on top of the expert, professional and level-setting care you will receive from Millennial’s doctors and staff. Both Dr. Everett and Dr. Shokrian bring an unsurpassed level of passion to their work and pride themselves on the results they achieve for their patients. The real reward, however, comes from knowing that each has helped his patients realize a look which can help bring joy to all aspects of their lives and improve their wellbeing. Experience the Millennial difference.
Dr. Marc Everett is a native New Yorker and fellowship-trained plastic surgeon who brings compassion, attention to detail, an artistic eye and endless intellectual curiosity to his work. These qualities combine for him to create beautifully-crafted, individualized artistic results for his patients, while maintaining the utmost emphasis on patient safety. Dr. Everett is a rising star in aesthetic plastic surgery and has earned respect from the academic community with numerous achievements and has been recognized for innovative ideas in the field and strict adherence to patient safety principles. As a result of his dedication to researching improved techniques and better ways to take care of patients, he has been invited to teach his innovative principles and methods internationally — including in Israel and Japan — as well as across the United States.
Dr. Everett graduated amongst the top of his medical school class and subsequently began his post-graduate training by completing a residency in general surgery where he grew up in New York. He then went on to complete a second residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Philadelphia. Propelled by his accolades, Dr. Everett was invited to cap off nine years of formal surgical training in Houston, Texas at the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery endorsed fellowship. This additional training enabled Dr. Everett to hone his surgical skills under the tutelage of internationally recognized surgeons and also further specialize in his passion for patient safety.
Dr. Everett is a reviewer for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and publishes on topics in which he specializes. Most recently, Dr. Everett has published an article l detailing his safe and proven methods for the Brazilian Butt Lift demonstrated through an extensive track record. This manuscript was selected as the Editor’s Choice for its positive impact on the surgeons who read the article and perform the procedure as it is detailed in the article. His current research involves improving the safety of abdominoplasty by reducing blood loss during and after surgery. His other areas of interest include breast augmentation, pain management strategies, surgical technology and resident/fellow education.
Recognized for his insight into the proper healing processes of body contouring patients, Dr. Everett has consulted for the Marena Group to help them design improved compression garments for the Marena Recovery line. In addition, he is a member of The Aesthetic Society’s Product Development & Market Research Committee which advocates for plastic surgery practices to increase their cybersecurity to protect their patients private information.
Stemming from exceptional education and vast early career experience, Dr. Everett brings a creative, vibrant energy to help both his male and female patients find the path to achieve their unique and personal aesthetic goals. Dr. Everett brings to you the most up-to-date and current approach combining instruction from the world’s experts, experience with cutting-edge research and his own finesse to address his patients’ individual aesthetic needs.
“I am motivated by the pursuit to be the best,” says Dr. David Shokrian. He finds the positive in any situation, looking beyond the problem to see the solution and the opportunities and rewards it offers. This combination of positivity, creativity and resiliency helps to set the doctor apart from his peers.
However, it is Dr. Shokrian’s compassion which makes him a truly great surgeon. “I enjoy creating beauty and restoring it,” Dr. Shokrian says. “I pride myself on finding beauty in everyone.” Dr. Shokrian believes that discovering an individual’s inner beauty depends on an open, personal relationship and a thorough understanding of their unique aesthetic goals.
The doctor’s natural patience lends itself well to this patient-focused and consultative approach. Dr. Shokrian quickly describes himself as “very open to hearing what others think,” which helps facilitate the easy rapport and good communication during consultations that lead to each patient’s best outcome. Another focus of Dr. Shokrian’s practice is performing awake surgeries with local anesthesia which enhance positive outcomes. Awake surgeries, performed by a qualified surgeon like Dr. Shokrian, lead to fewer complications and less downtime and pain.
Despite his numerous accomplishments, Dr. Shokrian cares most about the people he has helped treat over the years. These patients include high-risk youths he has helped while giving back to the local community as well as individuals he’s helped abroad on pro bono surgical missions. “I love taking care of patients and seeing them do well and be happy,” Dr. Shokrian concludes.
